Gary V. Powell’s stories have been widely published both in print and online. In addition, several of his stories have placed or won prizes in national contests. Most recently, “Trinity's,” received an Honorable Mention for the Winter 2010 New Millennium Fiction Prize and "Home Free" received an Honorable Mention in the Newport Review 2011 Flash Fiction Contest. He lives in North Carolina near the shores of Lake Norman with his beautiful wife and amazing son. His first novel, Lucky Bastard is expected out this fall with Main Street Rag Press.
